Wintering in the Southern States

Each Winter I find a nice warm spot to live and this year, as last, it is in Florida.  My wife and I own a home on the Atlantic Coast and we settle in for about 5 months as the cold cruel weather of the north takes it's toll on our other home in Michigan.

Fishing, Flea Markets and fun are our main points of interest as we chill through the months.  Of course there are the occasional e-mails to friends and family stuck in the grips of the North but that is a topic for another time.

More postings will come soon as we're planning on doing some short trips to see just what all the excitement is in and around Florida.  Should be fun (and warm I might add.)

Earn Money While Traveling

Many people ask me how or if I am able to earn money while traveling.  The answer to that is yes.  True it isn't much but then I don't need much income to keep going.
I created a little video that is just one example of what you can do to create income.  I hope you enjoy it.

Michigan - Not So Pure Quite Yet

Well, I'm back in Michigan.  Winter in Florida was fantastic and I loved every precious moment of it.  But alas, Spring, Summer and Fall called me back north so I packed up and returned 1339 miles later arrived at my Summer home.

It is COLD!  I thought I would freeze to death in the first few days I was back in Michigan.  And, it hasn't gotten much better.  Today's high temperature was only 49 degrees and it is raining.  The good part about that however is that it isn't snowing. 

We will survive!  Oh, did I mention that I got married while in Florida?  Yes, I did and I am now the happiest man on the planet!...Perhaps even in the universe.  Life is good and we're looking forward to exploring more of Michigan together (after it warms up!)

We of course will keep you updated as we go and hope that you all take the time to get off the couch too and go visit places you've never seen before.

I've been to large zoos and some small. But, this morning I went to one that was, like they say in Goldilocks "Just Right" It is the Zoo in Viera, FL, Brevard County. I think you'll agree with me after watching this short video.

Just loving being able to be away from snow, wind, cold and ice during the winter months.  All is going well with my travels.

For those of you that can not or have yet to make the break from the rush of society's madness and get out on the road I thought perhaps you could use a little encouragement.
